'lo there all,
Howzit going? I hear rain, frost and snow has taken over the whole of Europe? Are you wrapping up warm? Here it's changing as ever. One day you could be walking around in your bikini drinking gallons, the next you could be canoeing it across town!
The new year festivities are over and it's just as well! Hope you had a lot of fun although I know some of you worked through it too! :( My plans of saving money whilst in Queenstown haven't exactly worked out but it's soon time for me to move on anyway! I should be leaving New Zealand by mid February! I think I would have liked to stay longer if I could have extended the duration of my other plane tickets. (It's ironic I will have spent the most time in NZ but probably will have seen the least there :( great excuse for me to come back!). Still It's Mexico next and how can I be complaining about that!
Since I have been working most of the time I haven't been doing many activites. Although I did have the chance to go Bungy jumping! It's the weirdest thing ever! I did a couple of local walks which had amazing views and unfortunately I missed river surfing a few days ago cos I fell off my bike a couple of days previous to that! Yes, I'd been chilling by the lake catching some rays and reading a good book when I decided to get back into town. Next thing I know, I see this long rock in front of me, the bike stalls, the back end rises off the ground, I go over the hand bar full circle and fall flat on my face! It was like bungy jumping again but with the crash happening!! ;)
Now I have an attractive blue chin and painful scratched hands! I felt like a right kid!
Still, can't let it stop me, before I leave New Zealand I hope I can do a skydive, swim with Dolphins, fly over mount Cook, and maybe do the canyon swing! Weather and money permitting!

My work shift is nearly over, I'd better run. Not too fast though eh? I might trip and get myself a matching pair of scratched knees! ;)
